Dartmoor v Redlegs – Under 16
The game began quickly with an early goal from Dartmoor’s Mason White, setting the tone for the match. A slick play down the left soon earned a short corner, and Jacob hammered the ball into the back of the goal for Dartmoor’s second.
The second quarter saw Dartmoor dominate the forward line, but Redlegs responded with a beautiful break, testing Dartmoor’s defence. Though Mason White nearly added another from a short corner, his shot went just wide of the goals. Sarah Johns almost capitalised on a superb overhead from Eddie Dolphin, but Redlegs’ defence held strong. Late in the quarter, Redlegs forced a short corner, but Dartmoor’s defence line made a crucial deflection. Despite Dartmoor’s pressure, the Redlegs’ backline kept them scoreless in the second term.
Dartmoor came out firing in the third quarter beginning with a short corner followed with a beautifully executed goal by Kendra Lewis. Redlegs earned a short corner themselves and built promising plays in the D, but Dartmoor’s defence stood firm.
As the game neared its end, Dartmoor used crisp passing to stretch the field, clearing from defence and attacking wide. Mason White adding another two goals. A final surge from Redlegs was calmly managed by Dartmoor, ending with the ball over the backline.
Despite the final score of 5-0, the score line doesn’t fully reflect the competitive and high-quality play from both teams. A hard-fought match that showcased skill, structure, and spirited defence.

Dartmoor v Tatiara – Men
On a cooler evening, Dartmoor faced off against Tatiara in a highly competitive and entertaining match. Dartmoor featured a number of younger players rotating through the bench, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm throughout the game. Despite their youth and inexperience, the Dartmoor side showed great composure and teamwork.
Tatiara came out strong and put up a determined fight, applying solid pressure and demonstrating disciplined defence. Both sides displayed excellent skills, with great passing and structured play in all areas of the field.
Dartmoor began to find more space and converted their attacking pressure into goals. They managed to slot two well-worked goals, capitalising on quick passes and decision-making in the circle. Tatiara continued to fight hard, keeping the game intense right to the final whistle.
Although Tatiara couldn’t find the back of the goals, their effort and defensive work were commendable. The final score consisted of a 2–0 win to Dartmoor.
