Tatiara vs Redlegs – Under 16
The Friday night game against Tatiara and Redlegs started off strong on Tatiara’s behalf, scoring their first goal shortly after the beginning whistle. Despite the amazing defence applied by Redlegs, and the settling of the evening cold, Tatiara was able to score another goal, to finish the quarter in a 2-0 lead.
Pressure towards the Tatiara attacking side led with the ball being stuck on top of the goals, allowing both sides to rest a bit. Soon after, Lachlan Robertson had another shot on goal, and secured his 2nd goal of the game. Despite more back and forth, and some even play, the quarter ended the score on 3-0.
The 3rd quarter set in, giving Redlegs the opportunity to commit some amazing tackles, as well as take the ball for a run to their attacking half. Amazing play from the Tatiara midfield saw the ball passed through to their attackers and hit the ball past the Redlegs goalie another 3 times for the quarter.
The final quarter of the game was played a bit more evenly, allowing Redlegs more time and opportunities with the ball, however, not being able to confirm a goal. When Tatiara secured the ball and sent it to their attack, the Redlegs defence was ready and able to clear it from the circle, leaving the quarter score less and the Match result 7-0.

Tatiara vs Redlegs – Women
The first Womens match of round 2 started with the ball mostly in Tatiara’s attacking half, putting the Redlegs defenders under the pump. Following smart play from the Redlegs defenders, beautiful play was made, allowing Redlegs’ Monique Shephard to score the first goal of the game, putting Redlegs in the lead. The ball was worked back to the Redlegs defence, where a goal was able to be snuck through, introducing Tatiara onto the scoreboard. Another goal scored by Tatiara allowed the ending score of the quarter to be 2-1.
Tatiara started the 2nd quarter off strong, quickly finding their way to their attacking circle, allowing an early goal. Redlegs then made their way to the Tatiara defence, gaining a short corner, which was shut down by the Jaime, clearing the ball out wide.
Redlegs made another dash for the circle, allowing Monique to score her second goal for the game. The constant pressure on the Redlegs goalie, Sally Luff, saw her making incredible saves, however a goal got slipped through by Tatiara. Redlegs supplied a comeback with Amelie Doecke Scoring the 3rd and final goal for Redlegs.
Tatiara’s, Jemima, who received a good ball from a defender, took it and ran down the field to score a goal. Tatiara was able to score another 3 goals before the final whistle blew, resulting in am 8-3 win for the Tatiara women.
