Kingston/Lucindale vs Greenbottles – Under 13
The Kingston/Lucindale Rangers U13s took on Greenbottles in what was a challenging game, with Greenbottles eventually coming away with a 12–0 victory.
Despite the final score, the K/L Rangers showed plenty of determination and continued to work hard throughout the match. The young Kingston/Lucindale team did particularly well considering the age and experience of the Greenbottles team.
There were some really nice passages of play from both sides, with some excellent passing and good teamwork helping to create opportunities and move the ball around the field.
Amelia put in a fantastic effort in goal defence, making some great saves and working hard to keep Greenbottles from adding even more to their score.
The K/L Rangers never gave up and continued to work hard right through to the final whistle. Greenbottles, however, were too strong as a team and took out a well-deserved win.

Kingston/Lucindale vs Dartmoor – Women
The Kingston/Lucindale Rangers took on Dartmoor in another closely contested women’s hockey match, with Dartmoor eventually taking the win 2–1.
Dartmoor got off to a strong start, scoring the opening goal in the first quarter to take an early lead. The Kingston/Lucindale Rangers continued to work hard and created some great passages of play as they looked to get themselves back into the contest. The play was tight, with neither team scoring again until late in the 3rd quarter.
The Kingston/Lucindale persistence paid off when a fantastic passage of teamwork saw the ball passed across goal before being deflected into the back of the net by Rebecca Clothier, bringing the scores level at 1–1.
The game remained tightly contested, with both sides working hard to create opportunities, with both goalies having to defend multiple shots on goal. However, Dartmoor eventually found the back of the net from a short corner to regain the lead.
The K/L Rangers continued to push right through to the final whistle, but Dartmoor held on to secure a hard-fought 2–1 victory.
It was another competitive game between the two sides, with plenty of determination and some excellent teamwork and sportsmanship from both sides.
