Redlegs vs Kingston/Lucindale – Under 16
The Kingston/Lucindale and Redlegs U16s went out in cold but clear conditions this week, with both teams giving it their all.
It was a very even game, with plenty of back and forth and both teams showing some great skill, sportsmanship and leadership on the field.
George from Reds managed a goal in the first half much to the excitement of his teammates, giving them the upper hand. Kingston/Lucindale fought back hard in the second half, with both teams doing a fantastic job, but were unable to convert.
The game was nearly over when Henry from Reds scored again, giving them a 2-0 win at the final whistle.

Redlegs vs Kingston/Lucindale – Women
The game started with near perfect hockey conditions – cool and cloudy, and thankfully not pouring with rain!
Redlegs defence got quite a workout from the start with Kingston/Lucindale’s strong forward line. There were a few wild swings and high balls towards the goals, but all in all it was a good-spirited game, with Kingston/Lucindale managing a few goals before half time.
Redlegs gave it a great go, with their youngsters doing a fantastic job against some experienced and talented players. They had quite a bit more forward play in the second half, but couldn’t quite get to the goals.
Kingston/Lucindale managed a few more goals, giving them a 6-0 win at the end of the game. A great effort by all, and overall, a fantastic game!
