Tatiara v Dartmoor – Under 16
The game began quickly with a short corner awarded to Dartmoor, which resulted in an amazing pass by Cooper Foale to Eddie Dolphin, who then scored a goal. With a quick run-in retaliation by Tatiara鈥檚 Lachlan Robertson, Tatiara were able to gain a short corner. Despite not having a shot at goals, Tatiara were rewarded with another short corner, which was beautifully defended by the Dartmoor defence.
The game then played a bit of back and forth, however, neither team were able to score off the short corners. Defence from both teams were strong and persistent, which held off the attackers from scoring a large number of goals.
A quick run and pass onto Lachlan鈥檚 forestick resulted in a sneaky hit past the goalie, bringing Tatiara onto the score board. Dartmoor soon retaliated by Eddie passing the ball to attacker Amy Ewer, who was able to score Dartmoor鈥檚 second goal of the game.
The defence from both teams held off the scoring in the third quarter as they made some amazing stops and equally amazing clears out of the circle. The game ended with a beautiful shot on goals by Hannah Harkness which was converted into a goal, creating a final score of a 2 all draw.

Tatiara v Greenbottles – Women
The women’s game between Greenbottles and Tatiara began with a lot of even play, as everyone expected. The game between these two teams is always a thriller for the spectators and the players on the field.
A short corner for Greenbottles came early in the game, however it resulted in a very close miss by a fill-in from K/L Rangers Holly Pietsch. Anna Young, who was in the right position all game, got a pass from Holly, which she was able to hit into the goals.
Great defending from Tatiara鈥檚 Kerrie Altus and Greenbottles’ Corrie Taylor, saw not many balls entering the circle, bringing the play into the middle quarters.
A short corner for Greenbottles saw Clarry Martin ready with her stick to save a shot on goal, which then resulted in a quick run down the field and a short corner for the Tatiara attack however, no score was made.
The last quarter began with an amazing run made by Holly, who then whacked the ball into a defenders stick which was deflected past the goalie and into the goals.
The rest of the game was stick to stick, with both teams earning some amazing short corners, however no shots were converted, ending the game as a 2-0 win for Greenbottles.
