Tatiara vs Dartmoor – Women
A very exciting game considering the score line. Tatiara only managed to get 10 girls on the park to display their fantastic new uniforms, and that definitely impacted the result.
Dartmoor still had to work very hard for their goals with the talent of Sarah Hamilton making life a bit easier for them to get the choccies on the night.
Well fought by both teams, the result may have been different with some more numbers for Tatiara, they seemed to play with a bit more intensity for the whole four quarters
Other results:
Greenbottles 3 def Kingston/Lucindale 2 – Goal scorers: Madi Derrington (G), Tillie Derrington (G), Lucy Possingham (G), Grace Gale (KL), Ange Donnelly (KL)

Tatiara vs Dartmoor – Men
As the chilly night set in Tatiara and Dartmoor’s teams fired up, strongly racing into action to the goals, but Tatiara was determined and caused a turn over. Danny Verrall was perched on top of the attacking circle ready to pounce on any attacking pass, but Darts were strong in defence.
Tatiara missed a short corner play, but shortly prevailed with a strong goal from Nathaniel Modra. After a couple of Tatiara’s offensive short corners later, proved Darts were still holding strong in defence letting nothing else through for the first quarter.
Second quarter started with a lovely open run from Nathaniel Modra, who scored yet again for Tatiara with the help of Hamish Pearce. Dartmoor still kept fighting fierce with some great plays between Hamish McLachlan & John Sadler but Tats were still determined for another goal with a solid hit from Will Krop gaining the third goal of the evening.
Halftime got away with lots of great back and forth plays. Dartmoor firing up and was rewarded with a short corner which conceded with no goal. Tatiara retaliated back with a fast break and strong offensive play gaining a short in their favour. However, Dartmoor was strong in defence allowing no more goals.
As we rolled into the last quarter, Tatiara’s team work was amping up with beautiful positioning on the field, keeping the ball in their half for the majority of the quarter. However Dartmoor’s defence stood firm. As quick as Dartmoor’s Jack Thomson’s big hits out of defence were, they seemed to come straight back. Both teams had some great team work plays, which was great to watch from the sidelines. Ending the game 3-0 Tatiara’s way.
Other results:
Greenbottles 7 def Kingston/Lucindale 1 – Goal scorers: Gabe Cox 3 (G), Cameron Taylor 2 (G), Gavin Boord (G), Henry Boord (G), Jordan Dupree (KL)
