Round 1 – Season 2024
A wet start for the littles but the kids brought their own sunshine to the first round of the season.
Under 9
It was a wet start on Saturday morning and the clouds were grey but the enthusiasm of the kids shined bright.
All teams had a good turnout with a few extra teams this year and all kids were keen to get started.
Redlegs and Kingston/Lucindale were up against each other with a few new faces on each team. They were off to a quick start with the ball being moved down the field towards the Redlegs defenders and into the goal.
Redlegs were able to match that goal in the second half with a battle of back-and-forth before finally, a Redlegs player pushed it in to score the goal.
Well done to all the teams, a wonderful start to the 2024 season!

Kingston/Lucindale came out in the second quarter with a clear plan to stem the flow and managed to restrict Reds attackers to just one more in the 2nd quarter and settle the pace of the game.
